Albemarle's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.8 points per game. As for Thomasville, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Things could have been worse for Albemarle, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 14-0 loss to Thomasville in their previous matchup back in August of 2022. Can Albemarle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
