The East Central HomeSchool Patriots can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Southern Christian on the road to the tune of 82-45. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for East Central HomeSchool this season.
East Central HomeSchool was led to victory by Knox Cooper and Anthony Knetter. Cooper dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten assists, while Knetter dropped a double-double on 35 points and 15 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Cooper scored 15 or more points. Greyson Boyd was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
East Central HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Southern Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
East Central HomeSchool won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Wiregrass at 12:00 p.m. on January 27th. Wiregrass is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56 points per game. Southern Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Tuscaloosa Home Educators presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southern Christian in Alabama (Tuscaloosa Home Educators is ranked 194th, while Southern Christian is ranked 420th).
