Marist waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cottage Grove Lions 56-35. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Marist pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Cottage Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Marist and Cottage Grove will both be playing Marshfield the next time they take the court. Cottage Grove will host Marshfield at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marist will host them at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
