Raphael Babba put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Watson, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Elliot Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Stone Ridge Christian, falling 95-43. Elliot Christian has struggled against Stone Ridge Christian recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Turlock Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Elliot Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Turlock Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Elliot Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 51-46 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Turlock Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
