While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Avyn Brower. On Friday she went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two doubles, which was good enough to set a new career-high in RBI.

Looking ahead, Brower and Del Oro will square off against Elk Grove at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles had to take a loss when they last met the Thundering Herd, but Brower had little to do with the loss: she went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
