The Slidell Tigers came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 52-47 win over Northshore. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Slidell also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Slidell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mike Parlow led the charge by scoring 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Hookfin, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Slidell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. As for Northshore, they now have a losing record at 13-14.
Slidell will head out on the road to challenge Northshore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Slidell is coming into the contest with eight straight wins on the road, meaning Northshore will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Northshore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Slidell at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Slidell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
