There's no place like home for the Sierra Vista Dons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They secured a 47-42 W over Workman on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Sierra Vista, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sierra Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Orozco, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anson Wei, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Sierra Vista's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Workman, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Sierra Vista will head out on the road to take on Whittier at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Whittier's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Workman, they will square off against Orthopaedic at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
