FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
Giles County (Pulaski, Tenn.) extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 48-0 victory over Page (Franklin, Tenn.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Bobcats led 34-0 at the half.
Giles County expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. GC scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Al Cobb.
Cobb played well for the Pulaski school in the victory. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored 18 touchdowns on the season.
The Patriots came in giving up 16.3 points per game this season. Page struggled against the Bobcats' offense, which entered the game scoring 43.6 points per game. Giles County came into the game allowing 7.4 points per game. PHS's zero points were well below its season average of 25.4 per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 21-20 win for GC.
