The Plant Panthers will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Gibbs Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Plant earned a 48-41 victory over Robinson.
Plant's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sanae Graham, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for her. Jazlyn Bowman was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Gibbs waltzed into their contest Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 42-33 win over Academy of the Holy Names.
Plant's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Gibbs, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
