United won against Martin on Thursday with 74 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The United Longhorns blew past the Crystal City Javelinas, posting a 74-41 victory. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Crystal City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caryssa Diaz, who posted ten points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Breana Hernandez, who earned seven points and ten rebounds.

The win was the third in a row for United, bringing their record for this year to 12-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Crystal City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
