If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for West Sioux. On Friday they take on Sibley-Ocheyedan at 7:00 PM. Sibley-Ocheyedan will need to watch out since West Sioux have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.
Last Friday, West Sioux put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Gehlen Catholic as the squad secured a 61-0 victory.
Meanwhile, Sibley-Ocheyedan have had to suffer through a 3-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They dodged a bullet, finishing off Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire 7-6. The success represented a nice turnaround for Sibley-Ocheyedan, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-50 defeat.
