Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Somers beat Coventry 57-51 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Somers.
Rockville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Somers, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Rockville skirted past Somers 40-37 when the teams last played back in January. Will Rockville repeat their success, or does Somers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
