The Salmen Spartans won the last time they faced the Franklinton Demons, and things went their way on Thursday too. Salmen claimed a resounding 56-13 victory over Franklinton on the road. With Salmen ahead 36-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Destiny Bennett was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Zoe jane Nastasia, who scored 12 points.
Salmen is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-16 record this season. As for Franklinton, they dropped their record down to 7-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Salmen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Franklinton also has no future games currently scheduled.
