Ridgeview might be getting used to good results now that the team have seven wins in a row. They took down Battle 24-7.
Ridgeview's offense had trouble getting into gear in the first half and closed the half with zero points. Battle couldn't get anything started offensively, either, which meant the halftime score sat untouched at 0-0. The offense for Ridgeview put that tie to bed by coming up with 24 points in the second half to win the game. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 7-0. The loss dropped Battle's record to 3-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Ridgeview take on Abingdon at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. Battle will be staying on the road, facing off against Gate City. Battle have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Gate City are surely hoping to exploit.
