 Minooka came tearing into  Wednesday's  contest with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by  a  15-2 margin over the Lemont HS.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Madison Kelly, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addisonn Crumly, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Yorkville scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on West Aurora with a sharp  13-6 victory.
 Minooka pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with that  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs per game. As for Yorkville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
 Minooka suffered a grim  12-0 defeat to Yorkville  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. Thankfully for Minooka,  Madi Reeves (who   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched) won't be suiting up this time.
