Last Friday, things could have been worse for Acadiana Christian, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-38 loss to Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool.
The losing side was boosted by Ty Olivier, who scored 16 points along with four steals. That was a full 42.1% of Acadiana Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Lanclos, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Christian Home Educators Fellowship waltzed into their game on Friday with 19 straight wins but they left with 20. They came out on top against Bishop Noland Episcopal Day by a score of 58-48.
Acadiana Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, their victory bumped their record up to 28-1.
Acadiana Christian was dealt a bruising 72-32 defeat at the hands of Christian Home Educators Fellowship in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Acadiana Christian was down 45-15.
