Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sudan). They breezed past the Plains Cowboys to the tune of 41-12 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won seven in a row.

Sudan's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Sudan and Plains will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Hornets see the field they'll take on Crosbyton at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Plains, their break will end when they face Seagraves at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
