Basketball Recap: Dillon's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dillon). They came out on top against the Marion Swamp Foxes by a score of 55-46 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

It was another big night for Zamaurious Robertson, who posted 23 points. Another player making a difference was Jamarion Fling, who scored 11 points and four steals.

Dillon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Marion, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

When Dillon and Marion next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Dillon will try to stop Fairmont's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Marion will try to stop Mullins' four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
