After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamshire-Fannett, the Splendora Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They managed a 52-46 victory over Livingston. For Splendora, this counts as revenge for the 70-64 defeat Livingston walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
It was another big night for Justin Kelley, who scored 23 points. The matchup was his 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaydn McNeely, who scored seven points along with four blocks.
Splendora has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Livingston, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Splendora and Woodville will round out the year against one another at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th at. Livingston will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hargrave at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
