Eupora had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt J.Z. George on Tuesday. The Eagles never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Eupora's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for J.Z. George, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eupora will venture away from home to face off against Ethel at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for J.Z. George, they will head out to take on Winona at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
