After a string of four wins, The Cameron County Raiders''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were beaten by Brockway 42-14. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cameron County in their matchups with Brockway: they've now lost four in a row.
Maddox Baughman threw for 95 yards on 12 of 22 attempts. On the ground, Malakai Zucal rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown.
Brockway's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Fox led the charge by throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Jendy Cuello, who rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Cameron County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Brockway, their win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-3.
Cameron County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brockway will look to defend their home field on Friday against Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley at 7:00 p.m.
