If the University Charter Trail Blazers were riding high off their 73-44 takedown of the Johnson Eagles last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. University Charter was dealt a 72-40 loss at the hands of Keith on Thursday. University Charter has not had much luck with Keith recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Leading Keith to victory were Miles Hannah and Tommy Tisdale III. Hannah scored 16 points, while Tisdale III scored 21 points. Tisdale III is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Titus Lanier, who scored nine points.
University Charter's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-14. As for Keith, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Linden the next time they take the court. Keith will host Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while University Charter will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
