Diablo Valley recap October 8, 2013
College Park moved up to 384 from 419 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Diablo Valley.
Concord took down Oakland 64-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. MITCH DANIELS threw for 211 yards and 6 touchdowns in the win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Minutemen's DANIELS and MASON KNIGHT have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-2 quarterback DANIELS has thrown for 1,262 yards this season, while KNIGHT has 39 catches for 509 yards. Miles Harrison from Clayton Valley Charter leads the league in rushing with 574 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Northgate takes on Mt. Diablo. The Broncos are currently in first, while the Red Devils are in fifth.
