Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The West Iredell Warriors, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 63-14 loss at the hands of Dudley on Friday. West Iredell was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.
Andrew Attmore II was his usual excellent self, throwing for 334 yards and four touchdowns while completing 93.8% of his passes. CJ Neely also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
West Iredell has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Dudley, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
West Iredell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Dudley will be playing at home against Central Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Davidson is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
