Leesville Road was the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over Panther Creek on Tuesday. The Pride might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by nine runs or more this season.
Landon Lewis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Lewis was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Will Matthews and Carter Hepp did most of the damage at the plate: Matthews went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Hepp scored two runs while going 2-for-2. That triple was Matthews' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ben Fields, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Leesville Road, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Leesville Road has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442. However, it's not like Millbrook struggles in that department as they've averaged .460. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
