Fans of the Knights have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Kaidence Browning was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Alexis Congdon was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Alesha Crowther was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.
Colony always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .609. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .511 or higher in four consecutive contests dating back to last season.
