Biggs posted their biggest victory since November 30, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Hamilton with a sharp 69-49 victory. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 16 more assists than your opponent, as Biggs did.
Emilio Vera continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase McLean, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Los Molinos got the win against CORE Butte on Friday by a conclusive 58-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for Los Molinos.
Los Molinos got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Karson Fox out in front who scored 19 points along with two steals. Fox continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Cantonwine, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Biggs is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Los Molinos, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Biggs hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 58.7 points per game. It's a different story for Los Molinos, though, as they've been averaging only 49.2 points per game. The only thing between Biggs and another offensive beatdown is Los Molinos. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Biggs and Los Molinos were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but Biggs came up empty-handed after a 46-45 loss. Can Biggs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
