Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool (Rosenberg, Texas) pulled its record back up to .500 with its 46-25 victory over
West Columbia Charter (West Columbia, Texas) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Chargers led 33-6 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 27 entering the fourth.
Fort Bend Chargers HomeSchool's most effective player was
Matt Adams. The senior running back threw one touchdown and ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored 17 touchdowns on the season.
The defeat comes as a step back for West Columbia Charter, which notched a 57-50 victory over Harmony Science Academy in its previous outing. With the win FBCH extended its winning streak to three games. The loss snapped the Warriors' 2-game winning streak.
The Rosenberg school (4-4) faces off against Allen Academy in a non-conference game its next time out. The Rams enter the contest having posted a 7-1.
