Kennedy entered their tilt with Roosevelt on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Teddies by a score of 5-2. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Teddies, too.

Archer Zemple was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Tate Reardon, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Kennedy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Roosevelt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Kennedy will host DeLaSalle at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Roosevelt, they will square off against Benilde-St. Margaret's at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last four games the Red Knights have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
