The Santee Warriors pushed their score all the way to 66 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 80-66 to Walthill. Santee was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Walthill apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Ethan Parker went supernova for Walthill, scoring 33 points. Adrian Phillips was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Santee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Walthill, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Santee will head out on the road to face off against Flandreau Indian at 4:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Walthill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winnebago on Friday. Hopefully Winnebago focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday.
