East Valley is 9-1 against Prosser since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Red Devils will welcome the Mustangs at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Valley has six straight victories, Prosser has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
East Valley's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Quincy as they made off with a 21-0 win. Considering the Red Devils have won five matchups by more than ten runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Presley Weatherley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.

Those three doubles gave Ramynke a new career-high. Brooklynn Root was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
East Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .710. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Prosser lost 13-4 to Ellensburg on Friday.
Hannah Beck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. East Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Prosser, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9-1.
Prosser's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .428. It's a different story for Prosser, though, as they've only averaged .207. Will they be able to contain East Valley's hitters?
East Valley took their victory against Prosser in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 13-2 score. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
