The Berlin Redcoats suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 58-55 to Glastonbury, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Berlin has not had much luck with Glastonbury recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Berlin still got an impressive performance from Emma Ellison, who scored 26 points along with nine rebounds. Ellison is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooke Walker, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Glastonbury, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berlin will take on Bloomfield at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glastonbury, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Southington at 6:45 p.m. on January 19th.
