With a playoff game on the line, the Southern Columbia Area Tigers rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 39-7 win over the Bucks. The win was familiar territory for Southern Columbia Area who now have seven in a row.
It was another big night for Garrett Garcia, who rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Louden Murphy and his 80 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Southern Columbia Area's victory.
Southern Columbia Area's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.33 points. As for Dunmore, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.
Southern Columbia Area will square off against Westinghouse at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Westinghouse is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Dunmore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
