With a playoff win on the line, Marquette rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the St. Edward Green Wave with a sharp 8-0 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won 19 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Marquette has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.
