Redlands East Valley won the last time they faced La Quinta and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Blackhawks by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Despite the loss, La Quinta saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lola Carde had 15 digs and four assists. Carde has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Redlands East Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for La Quinta, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
