The South Lyon Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Kettering on the road to the tune of 75-34. That looming 75-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for South Lyon yet this season.
Several Captains players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kevin Meredith, who scored 13 points. Diego Rocha was another key contributor, scoring six points.
South Lyon pushed their record up to 8-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Kettering, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
South Lyon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. As for Kettering, they will head out on the road to square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Walled Lake Western has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
