It was a proper cat-fight when Curlew duked it out with Cusick on Saturday. Curlew put the hurt on Cusick with a sharp 16-6 win. The Cougars' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Curlew back to even at 2-2. As for Cusick, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Curlew will face off against rival Mary Walker at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Cusick is set to square off against their familiar foe Republic at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
