Christian Collegiate Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six games by 26 points or more this season.
Christian Collegiate Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was DJ Biggs out in front who rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Biggs is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played. Sean Fairley was another key contributor, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
The victory makes it two in a row for Christian Collegiate Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Tunica Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Christian Collegiate Academy will face off against Newton County Academy at TBD on Friday. Newton County Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 games -- so hopefully Christian Collegiate Academy likes a good challenge. Tunica Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
