South will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Thunder Basin at 6:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
South couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-59 to Natrona County. South were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-31.
Thunder Basin had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Central 47-0.
Thunder Basin's win lifted them to 1-0 while South's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Thunder Basin can add another positive mark to their record or if South can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Thunder Basin's step.
