  Jonah Hawkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits and racked up 14 Ks.
 Meanwhile, Courtland entered their tilt with Massaponax with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Panthers  4-2.
 Eastern View's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Courtland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
 Eastern View might still be hurting after the  12-0 loss they got from Courtland  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Can Eastern View avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
