Brownstown/St. Elmo won the last time they faced Martinsville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bluestreaks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Brownstown/St. Elmo not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Martinsville between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Addie Sasse paced Brownstown/St. Elmo's offense, picking up seven kills. Sasse got some help from Macey Sapp and her 13 assists. Alivia Claycomb controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brownstown/St. Elmo is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Vandalia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martinsville, they will head out to take on Patoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
