Garcia was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with one  double and one  RBI. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  hits.
 In other batting news,  Ava Jennings was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.  Peyton Roberts also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Elberta  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 3.7  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 8.8.
The  win made it two in a row for Elberta and  bumps their season record up to 3-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their  loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.
 Elberta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  17-7  victory against Foley on the 18th. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  matchup,  a  13-2  win against McGill-Toolen on the 18th.
