Despite the loss, Blackstone-Millville saw an underclassman step up: Natalia Morais scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Marren Berry, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, Prouty suffered a rough 53-28 defeat at the hands of the Spartans two weeks ago. Prouty has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Blackstone-Millville's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Prouty, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Blackstone-Millville strolled past the Panthers in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 36-22.
