Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Arp's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Arp made up a huge gap compared to their last game against White Oak, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Arp Tigers' way against the White Oak Roughnecks on Tuesday as the Arp Tigers made off with a 15-5 win. Considering the Tigers have won 12 games by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubry Way was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Neci Potts, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.

Arp has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. White Oak moved to 9-8-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Arp will have a chance to go back-to-back against White Oak: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
