Wayland-Cohocton put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 48-7 win over Le Roy. Wayland-Cohocton were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory was the 3rd in a row for Wayland-Cohocton, as they raised their record to 5-2. The loss dropped Le Roy's record to 3-4.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Next week Wayland-Cohocton take on TBA at 1:00 PM. As for Le Roy, they will face off against TBA.
