The Flinthills Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Sedan Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Flinthills is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sedan in Kansas (Flinthills is ranked 126th, while Sedan is ranked 268th).
Last Saturday, Flinthills came up short against South Haven and fell 42-30. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Flinthills in their matchups with South Haven: they've now lost nine in a row.
Meanwhile, Sedan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 57-53 to Udall.
Flinthills' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Sedan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Flinthills strolled past Sedan when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 53-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Flinthills since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
