First Flight had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the West Johnston Wildcats get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Monday. Considering First Flight have won 12 matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit West Johnston with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexa Hallac (2), Summer Stevens (2), and Emme Ingram.

The victory was the ninth in a row for First Flight, bringing their record up to 19-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 55 goals over those nine contests. As for West Johnston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10-1.

Looking ahead, First Flight will challenge Orange on Thursday. West Johnston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
