The Creek Wood Red Hawks will head out to face off against the West Creek Coyote at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Creek Wood barely beat Fairview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Creek Wood never let Fairview get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Tuesday. The Red Hawks haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Hunter Bennett made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Bennett was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Alik George was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Donte Castro, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.
Creek Wood's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for West Creek, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Creek Wood has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. However, it's not like West Creek struggles in that department as they've averaged .527. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
