After a string of three wins, the Arcanum Trojans's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell to Northmont 48-42.
Despite the loss, Arcanum still got an impressive performance from Alexis Gibbons, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Brooke Anderson, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Arcanum's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Northmont, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Arcanum will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-County North at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Arcanum focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Monday. As for Northmont, they will head out on the road to take on Springfield at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
