Lee Qualk Delivers Electric Effort Vs Carmichaels
Starting off the list is California's Lee Qualk, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Qualk rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 149 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The win was the fourth in a row for California, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Qualk and California will take on West Greene on Friday.

West Greene was led to victory by Lane Allison, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Allison threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 127 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
West Greene has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Allison and West Greene will square off against California on Friday.

Hays Made His Presence Known in Bentworth's 36-33 Defeat
While Ben Hays delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Bentworth. Hays turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 105 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending a pass.
For the year, Hays has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 23.3 passing yards per game.

Houston Guesman and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Houston Guesman was instrumental in extending Jefferson-Morgan's winning streak to seven on Friday. Bethlehem Center had no answer to Guesman as he threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.

The second California player making an appearance here is Niko Georgagis, and for good reason. He wasn't messing around on Friday, picking up two sacks and making 13 total tackles (5.0 for loss). The matchup was his seventh straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
